Gojome Town Forest Museum is housed in the Gojome Castle landmark inside Moriyama Forest Park at 62-2 Usaginazawa, Gojome, Minamiakita District, Akita; telephone 018-852-3110. Town pages list hours 9:00–17:00 from 1 April–31 October, 9:00–16:00 in November, and winter closure from 1 December–31 March. Admission is free. Exhibits cover forestry tools, local crafts, and town views from the upper balcony. Confirm winter closure before travel.
