Mikawachi Ware History Museum

Located in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, the Mikawachi Ware History Museum displays the progression of pottery from ancient earthenware to Sueki, pottery, and porcelain. The museum exhibits valuable shards reflecting the history of Mikawachi ware before the era of porcelain production. It also features tools used in manufacturing, such as spatulas, planes, wheels, and brushes, along with models of climbing kilns to explain traditional making techniques.
