Ekingura

絵金蔵

Ekingura is a museum located in Kochi Prefecture that showcases traditional Japanese art. The facility features various exhibitions, including works of shibai-e by the artist Ekin and his disciples. Notable displays include white-ink drawings known as shiritsu and several pieces of theater-themed folding screens called shibai-e binpu. These artworks are significant to local traditions and can be seen in different forms during regional summer festivals.
