Ōdaiko no Yakata

大太鼓の館

Located in the Tsuzureko district of Akita Prefecture, Ōdaiko no Yakata is a museum showcasing drums from around the world. The collection includes several large Japanese drums exceeding 2 meters in diameter. One notable drum with a diameter of 3.71 meters was recognized by the Guinness Book as the world's largest Japanese drum made from a single cowhide. The facility also features an experience zone where visitors can view performances on a large screen.
