Iso Shrine

磯神社

Located in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, Iso Shrine is a site associated with the ancient establishment of the Grand Shrine of Ise. The grounds feature a pond surrounded by various trees, making it a recognized scenic spot for flowers. From late April to early May, approximately 300 azalea bushes bloom here, attracting many visitors. The shrine also holds traditional lion dances performed annually on February 11.
