The Yoshida Shōin History Museum is located in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The facility underwent major renovations to provide a comfortable environment for visitors to learn about the life and legacy of Yoshida Shōin. A related structure, the Risshiden at Shoin Shrine, was completed in October 2016 through significant donations from the founder of Choshimaru.
