Monument Museum Kimachi Stone

Located in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, this museum introduces the history, culture, and geology of Kimachi stone. The exhibition includes materials regarding the origin and processing of the stone, as well as theater videos showing the production process of traditional lanterns. The facility also hosts special exhibitions and features works created by master craftsmen.
