Fujiwara Palace Site Museum

藤原宮跡資料室

Located in Nara Prefecture, the Fujiwara Palace Site Museum is a research institution and exhibition space managed by the Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties. The museum displays findings from excavations of the Fujiwara Palace and related sites, including pottery, wooden and metal vessels, and roof tiles. The facility provides information on the construction process of the capital and its transition to Heijo-kyo, while outdoor exhibits display archaeological features such as foundation stones and reconstructed walls.
