Shinto shrines武野神社
Takeshino Shrine stands on the wooded Hachiman-yama hill in Niiza, Saitama Prefecture. Formerly called Hachiman-sha, it enshrines Homuda-wake no Mikoto, also identified with Emperor Ōjin. Springs from the hill once irrigated nearby fields, and local people offered prayers of gratitude for the harvest.
