Tanaka Isson Museum in Amami Park permanently exhibits the Nihonga painter Tanaka Isson, who settled in Amami later in life and painted subtropical birds and nature. Official pages describe Amami-takakura-inspired galleries showing about eighty works rotated four times a year across Tokyo, Chiba, and Amami periods, with the 2026 summer permanent display running 18 June–15 September.
