Asama Volcano Park

Asama Volcano Park is the Naganohara municipal Asamaen complex on the northern foot of Mount Asama, with a visitor center, nature trails, and related outdoor facilities. Official pages list Mt. Asama Northern Foothills Visitor Center hours from 10:00 to 16:30 with last entry at 16:00, open Fridays through Sundays and holidays from 24 April to 30 November, plus special opening days from 14 to 16 August 2026. Adult admission is 300 yen for high-school age and above and 100 yen for children through junior high, with free parking for about 300 cars and 40 buses.
