The Kasho Museum

The Kasho Museum, also known as Takabatake Kasho Taisho Roman Museum, celebrates illustrator Kasho Takabatake and Taisho-era romantic imagery. Official pages note the museum’s 35th anniversary in 2025, a 2026 exhibition marking sixty years since Kasho’s death, weekend-and-holiday opening for that show, and a collection of about 4,300 Kasho works including nihonga, sketches, and magazine illustrations.
