Konnō Hachimangū

Shinto shrines

金王八幡宮

Located in Tokyo, Konnō Hachimangū is a Shinto shrine where the main deity is Ninigi-no-Mikoto. The main hall was donated in the early Edo period and is recognized as a representative architectural structure of that era in the city. The grounds feature the Konno Sakura, a rare cherry tree with both single and double blossoms on one branch, which was transplanted from Kamakura.
