Kaneyū is Noshiro City's former ryotei, known as a hall of natural Akita cedar and registered as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. Visitors may tour the historic facility, and Japanese cuisine from noted Noshiro restaurants can be ordered for enjoyment in the tatami rooms. Events are also held on site. Admission for tours is free. Tour hours are 9:30-16:30, rental use runs 9:00-21:00 by reservation, and the building is closed from 29 December to 3 January. It stands at 13-8 Yanagimachi, Noshiro, Akita.
