Seto Blue and White Ceramics Center

Seto Blue and White Ceramics Center in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, is themed on Seto sometsuke, the local traditional blue-and-white pottery technique. Visitors can watch trainees at work, view seasonal exhibitions of masterpieces, and try sometsuke painting, including drop-in sessions for up to four people when space allows. The site preserves and opens the city's only ancient climbing kiln, a municipal cultural property.
