Toba Sea-Folk Museum

鳥羽市立海の博物館

Toba Sea-Folk Museum presents the culture of fishing villages and ama divers. Its five buildings were designed by Hiroshi Naito. Two permanent exhibition halls introduce the long relationship between people and the sea, and the museum holds 80 wooden boats from across Japan, including Important Tangible Folk Cultural Properties.
