楽山園

Rakusan-en in Kanra is a nationally designated scenic garden and Gunma’s only daimyo garden attached to the Obata domain residence of the Oda clan. Town pages describe a pond-stroll borrowed-scenery layout with islands, artificial hills, and several teahouses—including a rare pentagonal waiting teahouse—framing mountain views across the Ogawa River. The garden is noted as a transitional design between warrior and later daimyo garden styles. Confirm open hours before a quiet visit.
