Morimura Museum of Yamato-e Art

Morimura Memorial Museum in Sakae, Nagoya, is a Yamato-e art museum in the former residence of scholar Yoshitami Morimura and painters Yoshine and Yoshinaga Morimura. Official pages highlight Yoshine’s Meiji–early Showa Yamato-e, including a mural at Meiji Jingu’s Seitoku Memorial Picture Gallery, displays of screens, hanging scrolls and ceramics, plus a tea room and museum cafe on the first floor.
