Shōkadō

松花堂

Located in Kyoto, Shōkadō is a museum and garden featuring a Japanese garden noted for its wabi-sabi aesthetic. The site includes the thatched-roof Shōkadō hermitage and Izumibo Hall. Due to damage from an earthquake and ongoing restoration work, these specific inner garden areas are currently unavailable for viewing except during special release dates.
