Komakino Site is a nationally designated historic Jomon stone-circle site in Nozawa, Aomori City, with the free Komakino-kan learning center at Nozawa Sawabe 108-3 (telephone 017-757-8665). Official facility pages list Komakino-kan hours from 9:00 to 17:00 and year-end closure from December 29 through January 3. Outdoor site and Donguri-no-ie observation hours are 9:00 to 17:00 (until 16:00 from October) with winter closure from November 16 through April 30, all free. After a bear sighting on 2026-05-07 closed outdoor viewing, the city installed electric fencing and resumed site visits on 2026-06-25. Confirm current outdoor access before travel.
