Ginowan City Museum

宜野湾市立博物館

Ginowan City Museum opened in 1999 as a free municipal museum covering archaeology, history, folklore, and nature. Official pages note hours 9:00-17:00 with last entry 16:30, Tuesday and most holiday closings except Memorial Day and Culture Day, a permanent gallery renovated on 22 April 2017, roughly seven special exhibitions yearly, and a second-floor local-history reading room.
