Located in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, the Historic Sites Osarizawa Mine is a former mining site that has been open to the public as a historical location. The interior of the mine is noted for remaining cool even during periods of intense summer heat. According to reports from August 2025, the site scheduled its final year of public access, marking the conclusion of its period of general public opening.
