Located within the grounds of Himeji Castle, the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of History provides information on the history of Himeji Castle and the five provinces of Hyogo. The museum features permanent exhibitions that include Buddhist culture, paintings, crafts, and household tools used from the Edo period through the Showa era.
