Nakamura Hajime Memorial Hall

中村元記念館

Nakamura Hajime Memorial Hall opened in Matsue on 10 October 2012 to honor philosopher Hajime Nakamura and to promote research and education in Eastern thought. Official pages describe a reading room with part of his roughly 30,000 donated books, galleries of writings and mementos, an Eastern Thought Research Institute and Toho Gakuin Matsue campus, and free admission so visitors can return often.
