Historic Site Tana Mukaihara Remains Paleolithic Study Center

Located in Kanagawa Prefecture, the Historic Site Tana Mukaihara Remains Paleolithic Study Center is a facility focused on the Paleolithic period. The site contains residential remains from approximately 20,000 years ago, making it unique in Japan for its evidence of early human settlement. The center displays artifacts such as Jomon pottery and Kofun burial goods. Outdoor exhibits include reconstructed dwellings from the Paleolithic, Jomon, and Kofun periods.
