Located in Miyagi Prefecture, Tsutsujigaoka Tenmangū is a Shinto shrine situated on the grounds of Tsutsujigaoka, a site known for cherry blossom viewing in Sendai City. The current vermilion-lacquered hall was constructed in 1667 and features a structure made of Japanese keyaki wood. The shrine is also noted as a location visited by Emperor Meiji during an imperial tour in 1876.
