Sengan-en

仙巌園

Sengan-en is a garden located in Kagoshima Prefecture and is designated as a national scenic spot. Historically, the site served as a secondary residence for the Shimazu family of the Satsuma Domain. The grounds feature various elements including an inner palace area known as the Goten, which contains specific rooms such as the Ekkimu no Ma. The site also features traditional crafts like Satsuma Kiriko glassware and is associated with the Shimazu family history.
