Ōno Castle

大野城

Echizen Ono Castle, often called a castle in the sky, crowns Kameyama above the castle town of Ono in Fukui. The official site shares seasonal open periods, special spring openings, and stamp locations for the Continued Top 100 Castles list. As of the latest notice, the castle is temporarily closed and entry to Kameyama is banned after a bear sighting until safety is confirmed; castle stamps may be redirected to another town facility during the closure. Check the site before planning any ascent.
