Suwa Shrine in Miyakonojo is noted on the city cultural-property page for its stone Nio statues, a municipal tangible cultural property. The oldest record of the shrine name appears in a 1486 document, and the A and Un statues stand about 113–114 cm tall beside the torii, with a 1749 inscription on the Un statue.
