Erimo Town Museum & Museum of Kombu and Fishery

えりも町郷土資料館

Located in Hokkaido, this facility provides a comprehensive introduction to the history, culture, nature, and scenery of Erimo. The site features exhibits on local flora and fauna, as well as information regarding the local fishing industry. Specifically, it includes a section dedicated to kombu, where visitors can learn about its ecology and view actual specimens from Hokkaido and around the world. The museum also houses a wooden shore boat used for kombu fishing.
