上富良野町郷土館

Located in Hokkaido, the Kamifurano Folk Museum opened in May 1978 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of Kamifurano Town. The building was constructed based on a model of the former Kamifurano Village government office, which was noted for its grand architecture during the Taisho era. The museum displays materials regarding local history, the Tokachi-dake eruption, and artifacts from the pioneering period, including clothing, housing, and agricultural tools.
