Rinnoji Temple

輪王寺

Rinnoji Temple is a Buddhist temple in Tokyo’s Ueno area associated with the Rinnoji Monzeki tradition of Kan’eiji. The site preserves the former front gate of Kan’eiji’s abbot’s residence, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property that survived the destruction of much of the temple complex.
