Located in Chūō-ku, Ōsaka, the Osaka Museum of History opened in 2001. The building was designed by architects César Pelli & Associates and Nihon Sekkei. It is connected to the NHK Osaka Broadcasting Center via an atrium, which was designed by the same architectural firms and constructed at the same time.
