Kokusai Street is Naha's main commercial street, lined with department stores, restaurants, hotels, souvenir shops, and other local businesses. The shopping district also organizes pedestrian-oriented transit-mall periods and community events such as the Ten Thousand Eisa Dancers Parade. It is one of the principal urban areas for shopping and dining in central Naha.
